Modern Life Is So Disturbing

All over town, I'm running into strange-looking anime girls, moving in a stiff-jointed fashion, and speaking faux japanese in high pitched voices. Just this morning, one was ahead of me at the supermarket, paying for groceries in jerky little motions and giggling at inappropriate times. I wrote it off as another psychosis of modern times until I saw this video:

It's a new teenage craze, probably the most bizarre ever, and what's even more disturbing is that young girls are being encouraged and pursued by horrible, geeky men in their 20's and 30's.

Hi Tricia! This was my April Fool's post, and while the trend is real, it's really just a cult thing. Just in case, you might want to get rid of all your Hello Kitty things before it's too late.
