Ceramic Update

I glazed and fired some figures today,but the kiln must have been too hot. What was supposed to be matte, came out glossy, and two of the pieces were bare of glaze in spots, with the underglaze shading shriveled. I'm going to try again tomorrow, and build the shelves in a different pattern, which might allow for more even heat, and put a range of  cones in various spots to gage the temperature.
