You Reap What You Sow

The squash plants in the south bed have been wilting in the afternoon heat. I have to water them every day, but another solution would be to upgrade the drip irrigation to a higher water volume.

I'm going to do a little work out there around 6 PM, and while it will still be hot, the sun intensity will be lower.

I also need to dehydrate more onions and can tomatoes and beans. The canning heats up the house, and may have to wait until morning.
