Another Rainstorm

robbyMy primary rain water tank filled on Thursday, so I've connected the water lines from the roof to the 100 gallon auxiliary tank.
Pogi has been jumping the fence today, first to visit with a stray dog, and again, just now. I think my calling Pogi back and punishing him is sort of fun for him, and Halo enjoys the drama and also chastises Pogi when he comes back. He know it's bad, but it's also exciting.
I'm reading a WW2 history of the US Navy and Marines during the defense of the Philippines, and the author details a secret mission ordered by FDR, just days before the Pearl Harbor attack. The Navy sent out a tiny boat, commanded by a Navy officer, with a Filipino crew and a few small guns. It went directly towards the Japanese convoys, hoping to draw fire and be justification for Washington to declare war on Japan. It didn't work, but shortly after was the massive Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor.
