Dogs And Cats

A stray dog has been hanging around, and at sundown I was looking for him along the road. The tabby and orange cat thought I was calling them, and together, came from the side yard, over the fence and out to the road. It's kind of sweet that they would do that. Sometimes, I feel a little guilty that the cats can't be indoors because of the dogs, but actually they're very content with their situation. They have never been house cats, but I do see and pet them all multiple times a day.

During my search, I saw my long lost cat #5 over at a neighbor's, where I suppose the resident cats are more welcoming. My cats are apparently limiting the number to a colony of four.
