Six Californias Initiative

A ballot proposition is being prepared to vote on the separation of California into 6 different states.

Even in the outside chance that it is voted up by the electorate, it would never be approved by the California State legislature or the US Congress, which is required by Article 4 of the US Constitution.

"no new States shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress."

This initiative is really about many parts of the state having no say in policies, There is an urban cabal that controls the system. One example is the California High Speed Rail, a pet project of Jerry Brown, costing billions in State and Federal tax dollars, but initially running from Madera to Fresno in the central valley. They've already decided that many of the tracks will be conventional tracks, used my freight trains, and so it really won't be high speed at all. A huge boondoggle when the highway infrastructure is crumbling.
