Tomato Bounty

I have reached my 60 quart goal for canned tomatoes. There are still tomatoes in the garden, but maybe I can eat them as they ripen. I still have a few jars left, and I would rather fill them with green beans. So much work to grow and can tomatoes, but I love tomatoes, and I've heard that commercially canned tomatoes are tainted with a chemical coating on the metal can, which is a carcinogen.

I feel autumnish already, and wonder if we'll have an early and cold winter.
