Giving Over To Consumerism

robbyI broke down and bought an Amazon Fire HD7 tablet. To my credit, I didn't wait in a parking lot for hours, or have to fight anyone for it inside the store. I got it on Amazon for $69 after using a store credit they gave me, as an accommodation for a late delivery. It's well built and really high spec, generations beyond my two year old cheap Chinese tablet. It also has Bluetooth which will allow me to control, and give voice commands to an Amazon Fire TV Stick.
My Chinese tablet is still a good e-book reader, but almost always needs to be plugged in, as the battery is shot. The one bad thing is that I may not get delivery of the new tablet until early January.
