We've got a demographic in urban America that is disenfranchised. They don't care about social consequences, because they're not really a part of the greater society. They don't have jobs or buy cars or go on vacations, and couldn't care less if it all burns down.

Seems your police don't care about social consequences either. I'm not saying rioting is OK or an appropriate response, but equally it is not acceptable to murder a citizen in custody and we shouldn't overlook that.
