Garden Update

I have 26 Roma tomato seedlings started. They'll go in the ground soon. I'm also trying to start some Japanese eggplant, but even with fermenting seed last fall, they haven't popped. I think a heat tray would help, as these eggplant are tropical plants.

I got out a heating pad, and carefully rigged it to provide just a few more degrees of heat, and voila, I now have ten sprouted eggplant, as well.

I grow Roma tomatoes and put them up in quart jars. I still have about 20 quarts from last year. I've decided to give my aubergine seeds a tiny bit of heat to coax them into life.
