The general election is still 15 months away, and I'm encouraged by the Democrats that are resisting the coronation of Hillary, and are searching for an alternative. What has Hillary accomplished as Senator and Secretary of State? Her private email server and associated scandal were an engineered trick to avoid being accountable for her bad judgment and lack of leadership.

As a candidate, she won't even take a public position on issues like the Keystone pipeline, and avoids any honest interaction with the press.

I'm glad that sincere Democrats are expecting more.

So you believe that these scandals were conspiracies by Hillary to cover up other things because she didn't end up tarred and feathered for them?

What the fuck are you thinking?

Seriously, just admit that you hate her because she's female and have done with it.

I will explain that the private email server Hillary set up was absolutely a ploy to communicate secretly and dodge accountability. It's also clear that highly sensitive national security material passed through her poorly guarded server, thus available to any second rate hacker. Her record of bad decisions and poor judgment, makes me question if the US could survive a Hillary Clinton presidency.

A Hillary Clinton Presidency would be especially bad, coming after eight years of Obama's incompetence.

You're joking, right? Do you seriously think that a male Secretary of State would get a pass on the gross incompetence, arrogance and possible corruption Hillary required in order to use her private server to convey classified information? Or on refusing to make her e-mails on that server available to the government, claiming she "accidentally" deleted them?

Let alone the incredible incompetence she showed over Benghazi, coupled with her arrogant dismissal of questions regarding her conduct in that affair?

I find this very hard to believe, because what she did with the e-mail server was flat-out and seriously illegal -- she's risking prosecution should she fail to win the Presidency (I'm assuming that if she wins she'll make sure to kill the prosecution by keeping the corrupt Loretta Lynch as Attorney General, or maybe appointing an even more corrupt one -- the lesson she drew from Watergate was that Nixon wasn't corrupt enough). It also hurt her election prospects. She would have been far wiser had she resigned after Benghazi in protest for how Obama had handled it, as Obama rather than her had the authority to release the troops to fight. I'm guessing she was too shackled by her delusions about how diplomacy worked that she didn't realize that military intervention would have been the correct strategy.

Possibly, she was simply paralyzed by indecision. What Benghazi plainly showed is that Hillary Clinton is tempermentally unqualified to be President.

Speaking of Secretaries of State, Kerry's recent performance has shown that we're very, very lucky he lost the 2004 election, and it's probably scuttled his hopes of being a viable future Presidential candidate. Obama's narcissism leads him to cheerfully wreck the chances of other Democrats without even caring that he's ruining his own Party.

I'm not sure about illegality, I've read opinions, that at the time, using a private server wasn't illegal. When classified, national security documents were sent and received, it however, became a serious offense.

That's the key point. She transacted classified business on that server. This also qualifies as monumentally stupid on her part, since she was risking giving the documents to various national enemies by doing that. Which she may have done simply because she didn't care, compared to her own convenience and the option to destroy the evidence should some action of hers embarrass her (which is what she did!).

I honestly think she's a sociopath, and her political need to control the email record trumped any danger to national security.
