Orange to Lemon Grafting

I did my grafting late this afternoon, but the orange buds hadn't kept well in the refrigerator. They seemed dried out, but "nothing ventured, nothing gained". I've never done this before, so it's a learning process, but I will be surprised if some actually take.

I fell asleep on the couch halfway through "American Idol" and woke up 2 hours later. The late night talk shows were all dreary, full of Charlie Sheen jokes and horrible Betty White on the Tonight Show. I ended up watching a Globe Trekker episode on Mongolia, where the highlight was hunting and cooking a marmot with the nomadic tribesmen.
