Dog Amusements

Halo is an Australian Shepherd, noted for being smart and highly active. To keep him happy, I give him a lot of freedom. I take him on two long walks a day, which is good for me, as well, but I also regularly open the gate and let him roam (and hunt) out past the road. Yesterday morning, he caught another gopher, and I forget to dispose of the carcass, which he ate later in the day. He insists on moving his pig-skin chew toys outside, onto the exact middle of front lawn, and has piled tall grass on top of them. All this silly stuff keeps him amused, and ultimately, content and well balanced.
