Halo

Halo is such a smart dog. This morning he was lagging behind, and when he caught up, he realized that the creek between us was too deep and fast to cross. I gestured that he should go back and cross at the bridge, and he understood and did that. Pogi, I can't trust well enough to leave behind. He needs constant supervision, and would have gone in the creek regardless.

Partisan Media

The mainstream media is pulling out all the stops to help Obama get re-elected. They're now reporting that Donald Trump's birther comments have overshadowed Romney's winning the Republican nomination. Of course, those same media outlets are the ones that have chosen to turn up the volume of Trump's comments and try to link those comments to Romney. So, in essence, they're reporting on their reporting, in a desperate attempt to disparage Romney.
