Pomegranates In Season

One of my neighbors with a tree has offered as many as i can pick, but the few I've tried don't taste very good. They are just slightly sweet and terribly fibrous. It's sort of an ordeal eating one. When I see the guy, I'll ask him to point out a good pomegranate, to see if I'm somehow picking the bad ones.

War Crimes In Syria

Suburbs of Damascus were bombarded with poison gas early this morning. Horrible pictures are out of hundreds of civilians, including children, dead. It's being said that the embattled Syrian government is responsible.
