Long Drive

We're all going for a long road trip tomorrow, but both dogs seem to always like traveling. I'll stop at least every two hours and walk them. We're going up the Donner Summit to Truckee, and then north another 60 miles, to Plumas County.

I cut these horrid burrs out of Halo's fur, and he seemed to like it. I thought the sharp scissors and my snipping away might upset him. The burrs come from a large and very tasty (to dogs) type of grass. The tasty grass lures them in and the velcro-like seed heads are immediately stuck to them. I can't even get them off by hand when I immediately go at it, the only way is to cut them out later.
