Happy St. Patricks Day!

Ancestry.com is telling me to sign up and explore my Irish heritage. I did have a great-grandmother with the name of Doyle, but she came from Canada, not Ireland, in the late 19th century. My Dad remembered a story that she never was formally naturalized, but assimilated in her own way, voting in the US and such, and nobody ever said a word about it.
