Hot, Smoky Saturday

The air is heavy with smoke, blowing in from the north, and another heat wave has begun. I did some outside work this morning, but can feel the effects of smoke in my lungs, so I'm done.

Halo met a pretty border collie on our walk, and later went wading in the canal. Pogi started out with us on the walk, but went back home before the really fun stuff started.

With all of Pogi's phobias and compulsions, I'm probably the only person on earth that could handle him. He's made great progress, and does try his best to be a good dog.
