I've been reading novels that touch upon Navajo life and philosophy, and it's interesting because they are a culture adapted to this hot weather.
They don't complain about heat or cold, but instead try to stay in balance with weather. This is part of an overall philosophy called "walking in beauty".
During the warm months, they traditionally slept outside under open ramadas built next to the hogan
